Propposals Engineer
Responsible to: Snr Proposals Enginer & Regional Operational Manager
The Proposals Engineer’s primary function is the compiling of tenders and quotes for the business unit. To this end. the
Proposals Engineer will have a sound understanding of the principles of mechanical engineering. cost estimation and a
good degree of commercial awareness.
0 Ensure excellent service delivery in all business lines
0 Develop and deliver an integrated client approach to service delivery
0 Develop and maintain working relationships with intemal service functions
0 Ensure all tenders and quotes are submitted in a timely and presentable manner.
0 Cost estimation and build up to ensure expected profitability and job KPl are met.
0 Ensure compliance to clients technical and commercial requirements
0 Ensure Technician requirements are forecasted regularly to allow for resource planning
0 Maintain all job quotation. equipment and job registers on a daily basis
0 Support monthly invoicing for any projects delivered
0 Participate in any internal or external meetings to support the securing or delivery of projects or support the
devel o - ment of the business
0 Liaise with workshop and office staff to ensure prioritization of workload
0 Signing off completed work as necessary
0 Liaise with local office. workshop and UK facility
0 Ensure work is completed OTIF and within budget
0 Fulfill training requiremean
0 Participate in conference calls and meetings
0 Provide updates on project status. changes in scope and any 3rd party resources
0 Engineering or business management qualification is desirable
0 Previous intemal sales or tendering experience
0 Strong interpersonal skills
0 Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of a team
0 Fluent in En lish and Bahasa. Mandarin is desirable.
